GA Milano is a group of architects who are committed in the organization of tours and events related to the architecture in Milan.

Massimo Tiano
President and founding member of GA Milan, has a degree in Regional Planning, Urban and Environmental at the Politecnico di Milano. He worked for the Urban Center and is a consultant for Scenari Immobiliari, an independent institute of studies and research on real estate markets and the economy of the territory in Italy and Europe. From 2000 he worked with “AIM”, Association of Metropolitan Interests, for the study and communication of urban transformations of the metropolitan areas of Milan, organizing guided tours.

Carlo Berizzi
Founding member of GA Milan, is an architect and engineer. He is professor of Architecture and Urban Design at the University of Pavia, where he teaches in the master degree program in Building Engineering and Architecture. He is President of AIM, the Metropolitan Interests Association, which organizes projects, events and visits related to the architecture of Milan and the transformations of the metropolitan area. He is author of numerous papers and monographs of architecture including the Guide of Architecture of Milan for the German editor DOM Publishers.

Katia Accossato
She is architect and owner of ACT – architecture in Chiasso (Switzerland) and professor for Architectural Design at the Polytechnic in Milan. After her doctoral degree (Phd in Architectural Composition at IUAV, Venice) she taught at the Polytechnic in Zürich, the Academy of Architecture in Mendrisio and in the School of Architecture of Vaduz. She published in italian and foreign architecture magazines, she was editor of the swiss “Archi” (1998-2004), she studied some protagonists of modern and contemporary architecture. With her office she won several prices in architectural competitions.

Andrea Balestrini
He is an architect and he studied Architecture at Politecnico of Milan and the University of Stuttgart. During his studies he developed architectural themes combining the traditional architectural approach of the Milanese school with sustainable low-tech approaches from the contemporary Mid-European scene. During his stay in Germany and Peru, Andrea gathered several experiences on urban and landscape planning. Currently he is working in Milan at the international landscape firm LAND S.r.l. as project manager for the areas Germany and Russia.

Barbara Brollo
She is an architect with her own office. Several local and international professional experiences working and living in Spain, Argentina, China and England. He cooperates with several international offices and professionalsparticipating in international competitions. He teaches from 2013 at the politecnico di milano, within an international architectural design course. Her architectural projects are related to the medium size, designing exhibitions spaces, showrooms, offices, studios and housing.

Federico Scopinich
He is a territorial planner and completed his studies at the Universität für Bodenkultur of Vienna and the Universidad Politècnica de València. For several years he has been dealing with urban regeneration and territorial projects in several Architectural firms in Italy and abroad. He is now a project manager at LAND Milano Srl where he is responsible for projects in Switzerland. Beside the profession of designer he also works as a photographer.

Sibil Sträuli
She is an architect, born and raised in Switzerland, she studied at the ETH in Zurich and at the TU in Delft. After some years working as an architect in several countries, she settles in Milan and founds the office Pini& Sträuli architects, which works mainly on restoration and transformation projects in northern Italy and Switzerland. During eight years she was teaching at the Accademia di Architettura in Mendrisio, and nowadays she teaches at the Politecnico di Milano at the course of Architectural Composition for the master students.

Margherita Sossi
She graduated in Architecture at the Politecnico of Milan in 2014 after her study experiences abroad at the IE University in Segovia and ENSAS in Strasbourg. She has collaborated with landscape design studios in France and in Milan. Passionate about the themes of urban regeneration and enhancement of the territory, she is attending the master “Designing culture. Art, design, cultural enterprises” managed by ALMED and POLI.design.

Bianca Pichler
She is an architect and she graduated at the Polytechnic of Milan, after studing at the ETSA of Granada and the FAU of Santiago de Chile. She has collaborated with several interior design studios in Milan and since 2014 she has been running a participatory architecture workshop in Uganda with the TUgende collective. She collaborates with the editorial staff of domusweb as a contributor and is involved in communication in architecture.
